Here in DEMOmodA.xls the Category NUT is eliminated. When the [ß--2. Update Model Variable Selections] button was clicked; variables including the code NUT were excluded from the list of model equations. The alternative code A was entered as a label and the [4. Create Alternative Model] button is clicked to complete the creation process. A message appears when the alternative model has been created and an icon is placed in the VORSIM window with the alternative model name. Alternative models can be accessed only from their icons in the VORSIM window; you can not go directly to them from the VORSIM control screens.
